By keeping my colors and white balance as close to the raw, my couples can truly remember what their day was like.
There are no trendy edits happening with their photos.
I want to bring out the best in their location. Whether that means Red Rock, Green Redwoods, or Golden Hour on the Coast. I want them to be able to look back at these photos and still think they are beautiful, for decades to come, with the correct colors.
This preset that I’ve created is one that I’ve poured my heart and soul into - and it’s the one I use to edit every wedding, engagement, elopement, and session that I have for my couples.
On the contrary, in fact!
I want you to make this preset your own and customize the CRAP out of it! Tweak it until it can’t be recognized as my preset. In fact, I encourage you to look at not only how I edit, but how other’s edit too!
I want you to LEARN Lightroom, and make these presets an educational experience for you as a growing artist!
*Fun Fact: When I was trying to find my edit style, I think I purchased 5 different preset packs from different photographers JUST to see how they edit!
From there, I actually formed what THIS preset is today - and I still tweak it every now and then to get different looks!!
Knowing my motto, thee presets should look natural on your photos.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your photos may not look like my examples. This is because every lighting situation, camera setting, and shoot scenario is different. However, here are some tips: In order for them to look the best, I recommend making sure you start with tweaking the White Balance. Then editing from there.
My RAWs are shot with a Kelvin White Balance of 6300 on my Canon 5D Mk iii.
YOU ALSO MUST HAVE THE MOST UPDATED VERSION OF LIGHTROOM.
I’ve found that these presets DO work with any camera (Sony, Nikon, and Canon), and can be manipulated however which way to get the look you would like.
